PRACTICE STATUS & INSURANCE

Practice Status:

As of February 2008 my practice is full.  I expect that I will not have openings for new (individual) client interviews until the second quarter of 2008. Insurance Participation:

Currently, I am an in-network provider for Value Options and United Behavioral Health.  When I am able to take new clients again, I would be glad to work with these two insurance plans. (I will work exclusively with these two insurance plans for new clients in the future.) If you have been part of my practice in the past and are currently insured through BCBS, Magellan, or Aetna please let me know and we can discuss available options.

Private Pay Option:

Due to the rising cost/benefit ratio of working with insurance companies, I am phasing out my contracts with several insurance panels. However, I am available to serve clients who are able/willing to pay out of pocket and will gladly provide a standard “HCFA 1500” form for private filing.  I accept credit/debit cards (Visa, MC and Discover), cash and checks. I have a limited number of sliding scale ‘scholarships’ available. I am also adding group therapy and seminars to my practice milieu so that there are now options at various price points.  Please let me know of your needs and interests.
